CHICOPEE- Raymond “Pep” Beaudette, 91, passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born on September 14, 1927, a son of the late Henri and Antonette (Spinard) Beaudet. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Raymond later married Theresa (Stone) Beaudette on May 27, 1950, and she predeceased him in 1989. He held many jobs throughout his life, most notably he worked as a lithographer for Pond-Ekberg. He enjoyed gardening, cooking pancakes for his grandchildren, camping, and helping at the voting booths. He was very active in his community and was always willing to lend a hand. Most importantly, Raymond was extremely proud of his family. He was predeceased by his son, Peter, and his siblings, Antoinette, Alma, Juliette, Olive, Noella, Anita, Theresa, Leo, and Norman. Raymond is survived by his children, Jeary Beaudette and his wife Loura of Ware; Louise Leahy and her husband William of Chicopee; Pauline Denis of Chicopee; Timothy Beaudette and his wife Shin of Aberdeen, MD; Barbara Krisch of Englewood, FL; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will take place on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 4-8PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee MA. The funeral will begin at 10:30AM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from Brunelle’s with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12PM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony Street, Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, South Hadley.
