Koral Laflamme-Blais May 27, 1961 – May 4, 2020 Koral Laflamme-Blais, 58, of Chicopee, passed away on May 4th at Holyoke Medical Center after a short illness. Koral (Korky) was born May 27th, 1961 to the late Leo P. and Lorraine (Baillargeon) Laflamme Jr. in Holyoke. She lived most of her life in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee Comp in 1979. She worked many years in various retail stores including Cumberland Farms and most recently, Lowes in Hadley. She had an outgoing personality and a winning way with customers that made everyone’s day brighter when they interacted with her. Kids and animals were drawn to her as much as she was drawn to them. Her lifelong passion for her beloved Boston Bruins began as a child when she would watch them play with her dad. There were quite a few arguments with her husband (a Canadians fan) when the two teams played each other. Many times when she started laughing, she would end up with tears streaming down her face. Those of us that love her will miss that infectious giggle. In addition to her parents, Koral was predeceased by her brother Kevin and her niece Desiree. She is survived by her loving husband Timmy, her brother Keith and wife JoAnn of Springfield, her sister Karyn Clark and husband Scott of Wilbraham and her sister-in-law Sandi Gagnon of Holyoke. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much: Kevin Laflamme of Holyoke, Tara Brignoli and husband Tony of Westfield, Patrick Laflamme of Springfield, Robert and Meghan Clark of Wilbraham, Zach Weidman and son Zachary of Chicopee and Julian Laflamme of Chicopee. She leaves behind many others that meant the world to her including her wonderful godmother Shirley Cadieux, Uncle “Pops” Eugene Moreau, her life-long best friend Desiree Harris and her numerous cousins that she shared many wonderful times with playing cards and games, especially Gina and Chris. There are too many cherished friends to list. Her family would like to thank you all for bringing joy to her life. There will be a Celebration of Koral’s Life at a later date. Brunelle Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield MA 01105 or Thomas J O’Connor 627 Cottage St, Springfield MA 01104.
