GAIL KONSEVICH DEVLIN 1948 - 2018 CHICOPEE - Gail Kathleen (Konsevich) Devlin, 70, beloved mother of Mary Jo May Devlin, daughter of the late Joseph P. And Helen Konsevich (Pashesink) passed away suddenly in her home from natural causes on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Born in Greenfield, MA Gail spent most of her life in Westfield, MA where she attended Holy Trinity grammar school and graduated from Westfield High School in 1965. She resided in Chicopee MA, for the last 11 years of her life. Gail spent many summers visiting her late aunt and uncle, Don and Olga Cousino at their Colrain Rd. farm in Greenfield, MA. Gail leaves behind her cousins; Sandra Cousino Ackerman of Shelburne Falls, Joe Kostuik of Deerfield, MA, and Anne Bastarache of Turners Falls as well as one niece and one nephew. Gail was married to Dennis S. Devlin in 1969 in Aldenville, Chicopee. Gail spent the first half of her career in the paper industry and the later part with Quest Diagnostics. Gail’s death was preceded by her sister Mary Jo Konsevich, her brother Wayne Konsevich, and her cousin Donald (Bub) Cousino. Gail was very fond of the seasons that New England offers and enjoyed decorating with every change of season. She spent time with friends attending local festivals, fairs, and picnics. She also enjoyed local concert venues and day excursions. Gail frequented the Chicopee Senior Center and had many friends and neighbors who she cherished spending time with. Gail was a supporter of the MSPCA and Shriners. She always had an adopted cat. Gail will be missed and remembered by many people. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4-6PM at Brunelle Funeral home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 12NOON in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Turners Falls Rd, Turners Falls, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gail’s name can be made to the TJ O’Connor Shelter, 627 Cottage Street, Spfld, MA 01104.
