Yvonne M Greenwood

Yvonne M. Greenwood 1920-2011 CHICOPEE - Yvonne Marie (Pelletier) Greenwood, 91, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011. Born November 15, 1920 in Chicopee, MA to the late Frank X. and Marie (Corriveau) Pelletier, she was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and attended Chicopee schools. After raising her six children at home, she entered the workforce. She worked for many years at W.T. Grant Co. in Holyoke and later retired from Ames Plating Corp. of Chicopee in 1995. Deeply devoted to her religion, Yvonne was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. She was also a member of the Aldenville Senior Center. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford J. Greenwood in 2004 and her beloved son David in February 2011. She was also predeceased by her sister Florence and brothers Roger and Frank. She is survived by five children: Edward and his wife Lorraine of Myrtle Beach, SC; Richard of Commerce, Georgia; Robert and his wife June of Chicopee; Nancy and her fianc� Bruce Woodard of Windsor Locks, CT; Thomas and his wife Nancy of Springfield. She leaves (14) grandchildren and (12) great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 8:30 AM at St. Rose De Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, followed by burial at the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 10 AM.
