Westfield – Ylona G. (Dach) Deslauriers, 97, formerly of the Linden Towers in Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at the Governors Center in Westfield. Born in Freiburg, Germany to the late Klara Dach, she was a longtime Springfield resident. Throughout her career, Ylona worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, employed at Belchertown State School, various area hospitals and with a Private Agency doing Home Health Care Services. Ylona was a kind and compassionate person and spent many years caring for others. Per her request, all funeral services will be private. Brunelle Funeral Home in Chicopee is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in Ylona’s memory to the Springfield Rescue Mission, Box 9045, Springfield, MA 01102-9045.
