William “Bill” Norman Murray, Jr., 54, passed away on July 20, 2020. He was born on September 11, 1965, a son of William Norman Sr. and Beverly (Crosier) Murray of Chicopee. Bill was educated in Holyoke and Chicopee schools. He worked for many years as a manager for O’Connell’s Convenience. Bill enjoyed traveling with his family, trips to Hampton Beach and Florida, family gatherings by the pool, cooking, cheering on his favorite New England sports teams, telling jokes, and time spent with family. His loveable, funny, and witty personality will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him. Bill leaves his beloved wife of 24 years, Gabriella (Nubile) Murray; his children, William Murray III and Olivia Murray; siblings, Colleen Rivera and her husband Luis, Belinda Houldson and her husband William, and Gail Dawson and her husband Karl; sister-in-law, Roberta Nubile; brothers-in-law, Silvio Nubile and his wife Cheryl, and Junior Dawson, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and his beloved dog Jack. He was pre-deceased by his brother, James Murray and a sister, Kimberly Dawson. Visiting Hours will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 9:30 am -11:00 am followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 am at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA.
