William H. Jaycox, 76, passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at Holyoke Hospital. Born on June 1, 1945 in Holyoke to Hector and Gertrude Jaycox. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Diane (Brady) Jaycox, and his sister, Paula. William was a Machine Operator, for many years, and was an active union member of G.C.I.U. Local 48-B. William had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. William cared for his family whom he loved dearly, including his dog, Maxx. He is survived by his son William of Chicopee. His daughter, Brenda and her husband Darren of Chicopee and daughter Rebecca of S. Hadley; his sister, Judith of Chicopee. His grandchildren, William, Tanya, Jalon and Joshua and great grandchildren, Andrew, Millaya and Savannah. Family and friends are invited to meet on Saturday August 28, 2021 for a period of visitation from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, with an 11:00 a.m. service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers in William’s memory to the Dakin Humane Society, P.O.
