William Denis

William A. Denis II 1953 � 2010 CHICOPEE � William A. Denis II, 56, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield on June 17, 1953 to Mary Dufault of South Hadley and the late William A. Denis. Bill attended schools in Granby and worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life. More recently, he worked at Sarat Ford in Agawam as a car salesman. Bill truly enjoyed attending car shows. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping with his family. Beside his mother, Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of thirty two years, Pauline T. (Beaudette) of Chicopee; his four daughters, Kimberly Lansberry and her husband Charles of Evansville, W.Va., Laura Denis of Chicopee, Christina Denis and her partner, Mike Manning of West Springfield and Amanda Denis of Chicopee; his brother, Michael Denis and his wife, Susan of Pelham, MA; his four sisters, Barbara Hauschild and her husband, Bryan of Granby, MA, Cheryl Knotts of Grafton, W. Va., Linda Baranowski and her husband, Marion of Chesterfield, MA and Patricia Dufault of South Hadley; his eight grandchildren, C.J., Chelsea, Clayton, Jarron, Bailey, Camryn, Jordyn and Madyson. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Calling hours will be Monday, May 24 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. There will be a Service of Remembrance at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
