Wanda Ivette Castro

Wanda Ivette Castro, longtime resident of Holyoke, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at her home, at the age of 58.
Wanda was born on June 22, 1965, in Comerio, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Angelita Madera, she was raised and educated in Puerto Rico, before residing in Holyoke for the past 36 years.
Wanda was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She leaves behind her two children, Karen Del Hoyo of Holyoke, Manuel Del Hoyo, and his wife, Maitty, five grandchildren, Aneesa, Luis, Xavian, Kailanny, and Milanny.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, September 29, for calling hours for Wanda from 6 – 8 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. Wanda’s burial will be private and at a later date. We ask that no photos are taken at all, during or after the service.
