Victoria A. Gajowski 1909 � 2009 CHICOPEE � Victoria A. (Glista) Gajowski, 99, died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Westfield Care and Rehab Center. She was born in Holyoke on November 10, 1909 to the late Joseph and Agatha (Rytwinski) Glista. Victoria attended schools in Holyoke and was a longtime resident of Chicopee. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chicopee and was a member of the Pulaski Club in Willimansett for many years. Mrs. Gajowski was predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley Gajowski on August 3, 1967 after over twenty-five years of marriage. She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Thomas S. Gajowski and his wife Christine of Westfield and Stephen F. Gajowski and his wife Lisa of Aurora, CO; her daughter, Barbara M. Medlock of Arvada, CO; her brother, Casimir Glista of CT; her four grandchildren, Robert, John and William Gajowski and Lloyd LaPlante; her three great-grandchildren, Asia Marin, Cearra and Joelle and several nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Victoria was also predeceased by her three brothers. A funeral procession will form on Thursday, September 10, at 8:45 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chicopee. Burial will follow the Liturgy in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made, in Victoria�s memory, to a charity of one�s choice.
