1922-2018
HOLYOKE- Valeda M. Goulet, 96, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Mt. St. Vincent Care Center in Holyoke. She was born in Notre-Dame des Bois Province of Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Donat and Lea (Goulet) Blais. She was primarily a homemaker and her family was always most important. She enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden, doing puzzles, and sewing. She is survived by two sons, Jean-Louis and his wife Carmel of Augusta, ME; Robin of Chicopee; her daughter, Colette Dufresne and her husband Paul of Granby; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Alpha and her sons, Claude, Renald, and Michel and a daughter Nicole (Turgeon). The family would like to thank the staff at Mt. St. Vincent for the wonderful care they provided to Valeda. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10:00AM-11:30AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:00PM in St. Anne Church, 30 College St., Chicopee, MA.
