Theresa Jeanette (Belisle) Lesik, 78, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on Monday November 15, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Burlington, VT to the late Clovis and Germaine Belisle, she was a longtime area resident. Theresa was employed in Housekeeping for many years at the Beaven Kelly Rest Home and she was a parishioner of the former St. Patrick’s Church in Chicopee. Theresa’s family was most important to her. She took pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was the sweetest and most caring Meme. She enjoyed playing “carport” bingo, sitting by the fire listening to oldies, and playing cards with her family, especially the holiday favorite called “screw your family” singing the song, Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye, as she won. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Carl W. Lesik; her children Annette Naginewicz (Robert), Wayne Lesik (Kendra) and Lisa Lesik; her sister, Carol Tierney (Jerry); her niece, Kelly; daughter-in-law, Lisa Lesik; seven grandchildren, Kenny, Josh, Sarah, Kayla, Tyler, Allen, and Kevin and by two great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Dillon in 2015 and by her son, Allen Lesik in 2016. A private burial will be held at a later date in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chiopee. Memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s memory to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
