Susan Anne Courchesne

HOLYOKE- Susan Anne (Colucci) Courchesne, 64, of Chicopee passed away on Saturday January 26, 2013 at her home. She was born in Holyoke on February 11, 1948 a daughter of the late Dominic and Helen (Mszanski) Colucci and was a 1965 graduate of Chicopee Comp. Susan was predeceased by her husband, Fernando R. Courchesne in April of 2003. She worked for 23 years at The Hope Group in Northboro, MA as a parts manager and later at Air Power of New England in Ayers, MA for over 10 years. Susan also taught ceramics in Fitchburg and was a committee member of the United Fund. Susan loved the company of others and especially enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family. She is survived by her sister, Gloria J. Chagnon and her husband Richard of Chicopee; her nephews, Michael A. Chagnon and his wife Kim of Chicopee; Kevin R. Chagnon and his wife Amanda of TX; her great nephew, Caden; her great niece, Sienna and her extended family and many dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. Susan’s funeral will begin on Thursday January 31, 2013 at 8:30 AM from the funeral home and followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. If friends desire memorial donations in Susan’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
