Chicopee – Steven Charles Richard, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday October 18, 2019 at Holyoke Health Care Center. Born in Hartford, CT to the late Arsene J. and Helen (LeRue) Richard, he was a longtime area resident. Steven loved to see the countryside and made a living hauling concerts from place to place, spending time doing the two things he loved most in life, trucking and music. He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Smith and her husband Andrew and Jessica Downie; son, John Richard; his brothers, Francis Richard and his wife Elaine and Kenneth Richard; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Matthew Smith; nieces, Elizabeth Glasier and Karen Wilshire and many dear musical friends over the years. All services will be private per Steven’s request. Brunelle Funeral Home is assisting the family.
