Stanislaw Siwiec

Stanislaw Siwiec1934-2015CHICOPEE- Stanislaw Siwiec, 81, passed away on April 15, 2015. He was born on February 15, 1934 in Poland to the late Grzegorz and Antonina (Jurkiewicz) Siwiec. He graduated from High School in Poland and joined the Polish Armored Corp, where he was a military tank driver. Stanislaw moved to America on December 23, 1983. He was a member of the former Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke, and a devoted catholic. He loved gardening, outdoor activities, Polish music and dancing. He was a family man, working hard to provide for them and dedicated to being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jadwiga (Majewska) Siwiec; two daughters, Yagoda Moutlon and her husband Mark, and Mariola Jarzynska and her husband Bart Nierenberg; three grandchildren, Agata Wojtczak and her husband Richard, Piotr Jarzynski, and Nicole Moulton; and one step-great granddaughter, Emily Wojtczak. Services for Stanislaw will be Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St, Chicopee, followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Section G, in South Hadley.
