Sandra Deren

Chicopee- Sandra A. Deren, 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on June 24, 1953 a daughter of the late James and Doris (Daigle) Petifer. She was a 1971 graduate of Easthampton High School and worked for many years at Langelier’s Bakery in Holyoke. She enjoyed cooking, relaxing outside, playing bingo at the senior center, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra’s caring, affectionate, and loving ways will be missed by all who knew her especially her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Hildebrand and her husband Corey of Chicopee, her son Khristopher Deren of Chicopee, two granddaughters, Angelica and Kayla Hildebrand. She also leaves her former husband Theodore Deren of Holyoke; a sister Pat Petifer of Chicopee; a brother David Petifer of Chicopee, several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers James Petifer and Robert Petifer. All services are Private. A Burial will be held at a later date in the Massachusetts Veterans’ memorial Cemetery, Agawam,MA.
