Ruth H Clark

Springfield- Ruth (Parris) Clark, 84, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at home with her family by her side. She was born in St. Albans, Vermont on July 27, 1932. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Putnam) Parris and she was educated in St. Albans Vermont. Ruth worked for many years at the Dairy Mart, and Goodwill Stores in Holyoke. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Chester Clark in 2001 and a daughter Charlotte Lumbra in 2009. She enjoyed playing cards, watching games shows and WWE, taking scenic drives, loved flowers and spending time with her family. Ruth loved her family and was proud of her five generations of family. Ruth is survived by her children, Howard Clark and his wife Carol of Florida; Chester Clark of Springfield; Karen Croteau of Holyoke; Vernon Clark of Springfield; Kathleen Berube of Springfield; Billie Jean Dearborn and her husband Glenn of Westfield; and Richard Clark of Springfield. “Mima” will be missed by her 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and dear friends. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2016 from 9AM -1030AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 followed by a funeral home service at 10:30AM.
