Ruth Franceschina

CHICOPEE- Ruth (Murray) Franceschina, 91, passed away peacefully at Mont Marie on Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was born in Holyoke, MA on September 18, 1924 a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosanna (Grenier) Murray and was educated locally. She was primarily a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and music. Ruth was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan and always made time for her faith and others. She was predeceased by her husband John Franceschina. Ruth leaves her son, John C. Franceschina and his family; several siblings and their families as well as several devoted friends. Visiting will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 9-10AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, Grattan St., Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee.
