Rose West

CHICOPEE- Rose Marie (Fredette) West, 89, passed away at Willimansett Center West on Saturday November 10, 2012. Rose was born in Chicopee on March 18, 1923 and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. Rose. She later graduated from the Providence School of Nursing becoming an L.P.N. and began working primarily as a private duty nurse and also at the Providence Hospital. Rose was also active at the American Legion Post # 337, Fraternal Order of Eagles and as a Ladies of the Moose member. She was predeceased by her parents Elfie and Adella (Gadoury) Fredette; three brothers, Elfie, Wilson and Donald Fredette; a sister, Celia Deshon and also by a beloved son, James W. West. Her generosity will be missed by all and she will be remembered fondly by her four sons; Donald Heroux of Chicopee; Ronald Heroux of SC; Raymond Heroux of SC; Edward �Skip� Heroux of Chicopee. She leaves two brothers, Leonard Fredette of VA and Richard of Springfield. Rose will leave behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
