RONALD R. CORRIERE, SR.
1948 – 2013

CHICOPEE- Ronald Richard Corriere, Sr., 65, passed away at his home in Chicopee on Monday, July 22, 2013. Ron was born and educated in Middletown, CT a son of the late James and Louise (Perriccio) Corriere. He was a longtime chef and food service manager most recently working at J. Polep Distributors in Chicopee and prior to that for the United States Postal Service in Chicopee. He retired after 44 years in the food service industry and enjoyed country music, ten pin bowling and was an avid New England sports fan supporting the Red Sox, Celtics and also the Dallas Cowboys. Ron was a generous man who always remembered the little but important things in life and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his son, Ron R. Corriere, Jr. of Norwalk, CT; his three brothers, Richard Corriere of FL; John Goglia of CT and Tom Goglia of CT. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and some very special and caring friends who were always there for Ron. He was also predeceased by a brother James Corriere. In honoring Ron wishes, friends and family are invited to gather at Ronald’s home in Chicopee where all can enjoy some good food and memories on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4-6 PM. Memorial donations in kind may be directed to the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
