Ronald A. Champagne1940-2015CHICOPEE- Ronald �Ron� A. Champagne, 74, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2015. Ron was born on November 19, 1940 to Andre and Rose Champagne in Chicopee. He graduated from HCC with an Associate�s Degree in Math and Science. He worked in various paper and printing factories in Holyoke before opening his own flee market business. Ron had an interest in WWII history, particularly the airplanes, and in his free time enjoyed making models of these planes. He was also involved in the Wings on Wheels Club in West Springfield. Ron was also a very talented artist, and drew realistic still life images as well as airplanes. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Frances, and they took three road trips around the US, always stopping at his favorite place, Death Valley. Ron is predeceased by his daughter, Nancy Migna; and his father, Andre Champagne. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Frances Champagne; his mother, Rose Champagne; his sister Nancy Roberts; and two nieces, Jill and Sissy. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 5-8PM in Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron�s memory to Thomas J.
