CHICOPEE- Roger F. Tardy, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was born in Holyoke, MA on November 26, 1954 a son of the late Walter and Irene (Yelle) Tardy and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Roger was a longtime area donut shop manager and worked for many years at the Whole Donut. He will be missed by his wife of 19 years, Mary (Cocco) Tardy of Chicopee; his two sons, Jerome Tardy and his wife Kelly of Monson, MA; Evan Tardy and his wife Jennifer of Springfield; his daughter, Tina Tardy of West Springfield; three brothers, Walter Tardy of Chicopee; Arthur Tardy of Maryland; Lester Tardy of Easthampton. He will be missed by his six adored grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Payten, Reagan, Aidan and Trinity. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and “Mr. Wilson”. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 10AM in St. Philip Episcopal Church, 128 Main St., Easthampton, MA 01027. A visiting period will precede the service from 9-10AM at St. Philip’s Church. The burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Lyman St., South Hadley, MA.
