Tribute
Roderic Robinson Lepper, 81, passed away Wednesday April 1st 2020 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Born in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Mildred L. (Robinson) and Arthur Lepper, he lived in Parlin, New Jersey until 1947 when his family moved to Detroit, Michigan. He was a graduate of Mackenzie High School in Detroit and then he attended DePaul University where he majored in music. Roderic served his country honorably in the Unites States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and then he moved to Springfield where he remained for many years. In 1997 he moved to Holyoke where he was a member of the DAV. Throughout his career, Roderic worked as a Taxi driver for many years as well as for the U.S. Postal Service.
He leaves his brothers, Peter Lepper and Thomas Lepper; step-son, David Stukus and by dear friends, Philip and Gloria Theriault. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family at the Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, MA. A Memorial Service for Roderic will be held at a later date.
