HOLYOKE � Roberta Clark, 82 of 287 Essex Street died at home on September 6, 2010 after a short illness. She was born in North Troy, Vermont on December 18, 1927 to the late Albert and Belle Lahue. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd G. Clark Sr. on Sept. 16, 1986. Prior to her retirement she worked at Holyoke Die Cut Card as a supervisor, and for Tracies Manufacturing for several years. She enjoyed embroidering and spent several hours on the computer playing free cell and chatting with family and friends. She was also an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching the Patriots games but most of all she enjoyed the U Conn. Women�s Huskies Basketball Team in which she faithfully watched every televised game. She is survived by her four sons, Floyd G. Clark Jr. of Chicopee, Dennis W. Clark of Holyoke Dean W. Clark of Southbridge and James M. Clark of Hyannis; her two daughters, June E. (Jones) Lupien and her husband Philip, Sr. of Chicopee and Maureen T. Hart and her husband Richard of Sarasota, Florida; her six grandchildren, John W. Jones of Sarasota, Florida, David A. Jones of Chicopee, Wendy A. Naslund of West Springfield, Amber L. Clark, Mathew G. Clark, Deacon J. Clark all of Sarasota, Florida and her only surviving sister Tessie Smith of North Troy, Vermont. She also leaves 8 great grandchildren and one more on the way, 1 great-great grandchild and a very special cousin, Beatrice of Barre, VT. Beside her parents and her husband, Roberta was also predeceased by her four brothers and two sisters. There will be a Service of Remembrance on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. Chicopee. Burial will follow the Service in Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will precede the Service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
