Chicopee- Robert G. Schwalm, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Robert was born and raised in Holyoke and Chicopee and a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School. He worked for Canteen Vending for several years. Robert was a long time member of the Chicopee Moose Lodge 1849 where he was a Fellowship member and a Past President. He enjoyed spending time with his family, bingo at the Moose Lodge, playing cards, playing words with friends, and watching his favorite sports. He will be missed by his children, Ronald Schwalm and Tawana of Chicopee, Colin Schwalm and Melissa of Colorado Springs, CO, and Audra Schwalm of North Adams, and his adored grandchildren. He also leaves his former spouse and friend, Sheila (Savard) Schwalm of Chicopee and her daughters, Chasity and Mindy. Robert was predeceased by his parents and his first wife Sandra (Danko) Schwalm.
