Robert N. Lemanis

Robert N. Lemanis1946-2015CHICOPEE- Robert �Bob� N. Lemanis, 68, died on May 25, 2015 in Chicopee after a long illness. He was born on October 21, 1946 to the late Agopios and Jennie (Moriarty) Lemanis in Springfield. He grew up in Springfield then joined the US Army, proudly serving from 1966 to 1968. Bob was a professional musician his entire life, playing drums in numerous bands, �The Daytonas� among them. He leaves his daughter Jeannie Bryant; his ex-wife Susan Lemanis; a sister Susan Wolf and her husband Bob of IL; longtime girlfriend Linda Thompson; and several cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as many musicians and friends. He had the perfect life, doing what he wanted, playing the drums. Visiting hours for Bob will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 4-7PM with a funeral home service and military honors at 6:30PM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. Burial will be private and at a later date in the MA Veteran�s Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to assist his family with expenses at gofundme.com.
