Richard "Ricky" Paul Duplisea

Richard “Ricky” P. Duplisea, beloved son of Kevin and Janet (Windolski) Duplisea, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2024, in Nashville, TN, at the age of 40.
Ricky was born in Springfield, MA on January 31, 1984, he was raised and educated in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee High School in 2001, and later moved to Clarksville, TN in 2010.
While at Chicopee High School, he lettered in Baseball as a catcher and continued by playing Legion ball for post # 452 in Chicopee.
Ricky was an avid Red Sox fan and strong supporter of the Patriots.
He enjoyed his many fishing trips with his father to Maine, all the family vacation trips to Tennessee, Maine, North Carolina, Florida, and all the countless ball games shared at Fenway Park.
At the age of 13, Ricky had the opportunity to go on a Missionary trip to Guatemala with Jubilee Family Outreach Center in West Springfield.
Ricky leaves his parents, Kevin and Janet of Holyoke, and loving children, Kyle, Zoey, and Skye Duplisea, sisters, Jillian and Danielle Duplisea, Rebecca McQueeney and her husband, John, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, March 12, for a period of visitation for Ricky from 6-8 p.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. His burial will be private and at a later date. For online condolences please visit www.brunellefuneralhome.com .
