Holyoke – Richard R. Lavoie, 70, lifelong resident of Holyoke, passed away Tuesday September 17, 2024 at Holyoke Medical Center. Richard was born in Holyoke on April 3, 1954, to Adelard and Simone Lavoie.
Richard was employed as an Office Clerk at the University of Massachusetts for many years.
His loving wife of 33 years, Denise (Rougeau) Lavoie of Holyoke passed away Sunday September 22, 2024, just five days after Richard.
He is survived by his son, Dustin Lavoie and his wife, Katie; stepchildren, Seanna Kindness and her husband Christopher, John Ferriter, and Joshua Jendrysik; grandchildren Kasidy and Lil Chris; great-grandchildren, MaKenna and Millie; brother, Jerry Lavoie and his wife Laurie and sister-in-law, Debra Pflanz and her husband, Michael.
All services and burial will be private for the family.
