CHICOPEE- Raymond Tanguay, 72, passed away on December 31, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on July 28, 1943 the son of the late Aurelion and Viola (Remillard) Tanguay. Ray was raised and educated in the Chicopee School System. He worked for U.S. Tsubacki Co. and retired after 42 dedicated years of service. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Ray enjoyed the outdoors and especially being on his bike as he was an avid biker. He is survived by his wife, Louann (Rivers) Tanguay of Chicopee; four daughters, Denise Tanguay; Renee Molloy; Rebecca St. Pierre and her husband Jamie; Amanda Burbee; five grandchildren and his nephew Joseph R. Lecuyer and a large extended family and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Arline M. Lecuyer in 2013. Family and friends will gather for military honors on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 3PM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001.
