1965 – 2008CHICOPEE – Randy L. Maleski, 43, died on Tuesday, July 8. He was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on May 11, 1965, the son of Max and Sharon (Robinson) Bobala of Chicopee. He was a forty year Chicopee resident and a graduate of Chicopee High School. He was currently employed at the Home Depot in Chicopee. Randy was an avid Red sox fan, loved gardening, and his cats, Mariah and Mercury. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandfather Paul M. Robinson of Florida, and paternal grandmother Claire Bobala of Chicopee. He also leaves two sisters, Gabrielle J. Hochrein of Chicopee, and Theresa Bobala of Springfield. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and extended family members including his brother in law Daniel L. Bouchard of Chicopee and best friend Rory. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lori J. Maleski and Catherine Bouchard. Calling hours at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. are on Thursday, July 17 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7pm. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Walnut St., Suite 318 Wellesley, MA 02481.
