Phyllis L. Shea

Granby, MA – Phyllis L. (Charest) Shea, 96, passed away peacefully on her birthday, April 2, 2025 at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born April 2, 1929, to William and Hortense (Cemnah) Charest.
Phyllis worked as a home health aide for many years, and prior to that worked at the Springdale photo mount and in the tobacco barns. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward R. Shea in 1995 and by her sons, Michael and Kevin Shea.
Phyllis had a strong catholic faith and enjoyed polka and bingo.
She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Susan Boudreau of Granby and Francine Shea of Connecticut and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday April 19th at 10:00 a.m. in West Street Cemetery in Granby, MA. There are no calling hours. Since Phyllis had a love for cats, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
