Peter F. Killion

Peter F. Killion 1953 � 2008 GRANBY � Peter F. Killion died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at the Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in Boston on February 16, 1953 to Catherine M. (Shine) Killion and the late John J. Killion Sr. Peter grew up in Cambridge, MA, and attended Rindge Technical High School. Mr. Killion served our country in the United States Marine Corp where he attained the rank of Corporal and earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a driver for the Holyoke News Company, Marcus Printing and the former Transcript Telegram. Peter was a member of the American Legion Post 266 in Granby, MA. Mr. Killion will be sadly missed by his mother, Catherine M. (Shine) Killion of Cambridge; his wife of twenty years, Cindy L. (Dunham) Killion of Granby, MA; his five sons, Peter F. Killion and Michael D. Killion both of Taunton, MA, James M. Killion of Chicopee, Matthew J. Killion and Kevin R. Killion both of Granby, MA; his two daughters, Andrea M. George of Sagamore Beach, MA and Catherine A. Killion of Granby, MA; his three brothers Paul Killion of Lemoyne, PA, John J. Killion Jr. of Concord N.H. and Stephen Killion of Cambridge, MA; his sister, Anne Marie Casey of Simsbury, CT; his two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Peter was predeceased by his brother David. A funeral procession will form on Saturday, May 31, at 8:45 A.M. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will be Friday, May 30, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
