Peter Edward Karetka

HOLYOKE- Peter �Flags� Karetka, 91, of Chicopee passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. He was a maintenance man for Fisk & Uniroyal Co for over 25 years. �Flags� was educated in Holyoke schools and was a veteran of WWII having served honorably in the US Navy. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Czeslawa (Szewc) Karetka and his wife, Rosemary (Trudeau) Karetka in 2004. �Flags� leaves behind his daughters, Susan Lewis of Chicopee; Gail Morin and her husband David of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Christopher Karetka, Jeremy Lewis and his wife Kelly; his great grandchildren, Megan Therrien and Penelope and Theodore Lewis. A chapel service with military honors will be conducted at the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at 1PM.
