Pedro Rivera

SPRINGFIELD- Pedro L. Rivera, 54, of Springfield and formerly of Holyoke passed away on Monday, July 5, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico a son of the late Ladislo Rivera and Celia (Maldonado) Rivera of Springfield. Pedro was educated and raised in Holyoke and despite having been through a tragedy he kept his sense of humor and love of family and friends. He enjoyed entertaining others and had many laughable quotes and will never be forgotten. In addition to his beloved mother Celia Rivera of Springfield he leaves behind 4 brothers, Raymond Rivera of Philadelphia, PA; Jose Rivera of Springfield; Luis Rivera of Puerto Rico; Hector Rivera of Springfield; 2 sisters, Evelyn Rivera of Puerto Rico and Evette Rivera of Puerto Rico. He will be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visiting hours are Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
