Pauline Ann (Harkins) Sacco, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 29, at her home in Chicopee at the age of 62.
Pauline was born on July 24, 1960, in New Britain, CT, daughter of Louis Sr. and Shirley (Farrell) Harkins.
She was raised and educated in New Britain and was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Pauline lived most of her life in New Britain and Hartford, CT, before residing in Chicopee for the past several years.
She held several jobs throughout her career and was most recently a produce manager at Stop & Shop in New Britain.
Pauline is survived by her loving mother, Shirley Harkins of New Britain, CT and children, Noella P. Lubin of Live Oak, FL, Kaitlyn J. Sacco and son in law, Ely Contois of Bellingham, WA, Louis E. Sacco of Granby, MA, and Elena M. Rodriguez and her fiancé, Alex Serrano of Chicopee, 6 cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Annalysse, Erick, Violet, Hazel, and Sophia, husband, Donald F. Sacco, Sr. of Springfield, brother, Louis Harkins, Jr. of Plainville, CT, and numerous adopted children including but not limited to, Laura Casillas and Anna Bialko. She was predeceased by her father, Louis Harkins, Sr.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, Sept. 6, for a service at 10 a.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. Burial will be private.
