South Carolina - Paulette J. Dame, 92, of Charleston, SC, wife of the late John G. Dame for 47 years, entered into eternal rest on April 06, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born on April 19, 1927 in Chicopee MA, Paulette was a daughter of the late Ernest Lefebvre and Cecile Therrien. Paulette was called mom by most who knew her. She was a loving character who treated friends and family alike and her home and kitchen were always open to all.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Paulette is preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Andre Lefebvre and spouse, Shirley and Roland Lefebvre and wife, Jean; her sisters-in-law, Adele Lacroix, Leona Carriere and husband, Ernest, Lucille Labonte and husband, George, Alice Stasz and husband, Edward and Claire Johnston and husband, Mickey.
Paulette is survived by her daughter, Shirley Lesieur and son-in-law, Denis of Charleston, SC; her son, John A. Dame and spouse, Diane of Fernandina Beach, FL and her two grand fur babies, Hogan and Monte; her sister, Huguette McLaughlin and deceased spouse, William; her recently deceased brother, John Lefebvre and deceased spouse, Irene and Guy Lefebvre and sister in law, Therese; her sister in law, Noella Dame and deceased husband, Robert. Paulette is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their children, grandchildren, and many members of her extended family.
Because of the COVID-19, the family is finally able to come together for Paulette’s funeral services. A period of visitation will be held on Tuesday May 4th, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. in Chicopee, MA, followed by her Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. in Chicopee. Burial will conclude in the St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St. in Chicopee. Please wear face masks throughout the funeral services and maintain social distancing for the safety of all in attendance.
