CHICOPEE- Paula (Racine) Hebert, 64, of Chicopee, passed away on September 22nd, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was born on December 13th, 1953 in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Roger and Fran (Feather) Racine. She graduated from Holyoke High School and later Holyoke Community College with a degree in nursing. She was a nurse for over 30 years, primarily at Baystate Medical Center, and later at the Springfield Visiting Nurses Association (VNA). Paula is remembered for her big smile, great laugh, and how fun she was to be around. Her versatile interests included spending time with family and friends, following American politics, taking trips to the beach, astrology, and many others. She leaves behind her husband of more than 40 years, Donald "Huck" Hebert, her sons, Jonathan and Jason, her granddaughter Sofia Hebert, and her sister Carol Kincaid. Paula also leaves many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Friday, September 28th, from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home.
