SPRINGFIELD – Paul J. Gregori, 89, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Wingate at Wilbraham. He was born in Great Barrington, MA on July 27, 1920 to the late Guisseppi and Virginia (Tombari) Gregori. Paul attended local schools and live most of his life in Springfield. He was a parishioner of the former St. Mary’s Church now Mother Mary of Hope Church in Springfield. Paul worked as a Superintendent at Heatbath Corp. where he retired in 1982 after thirty years of service. Mr. Gregori was a member of both the Board of Directors at the Charleston Senior Center and the Watson Pond Association. He was also a Licensed Stationary Engineer. Paul was predeceased by his loving wife, Claire (Terrien) on December 21, 1999 after fifty years of marriage. He leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Cynthia J. Andrejkovics and her husband Jeffrey of Long Island, N.Y. and Carol A. Johnson of Chicopee; his four grandchildren, Paul, Thomas, Beth and Daniel and several nieces and nephews. Paul was also predeceased by his two brothers, John and Ciro Bedinotti and his sister Amelia Maggi. A funeral procession will form on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Mother Mary of Hope Church (the former St. Mary’s Church) Page Blvd. Springfield. Burial will follow the Liturgy in St. Michaels Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory, to either St. James Chapel c/o St. Mary’s Church, Charleston, R.I. 01083 or to the American Heart Association, Western Mass Regional Center, 54C Wayside Ave, West Springfield, MA, 01089.
