Paul F. Giroux

Paul F. Giroux, 68, beloved husband of 25 years of Susanne Beaupre-Giroux, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Holyoke Medical Center.
Paul was born on February 16, 1957, in Springfield, MA, son of Phillip and Bertha (Aveyard) Giroux, he was raised and educated in Springfield and was a graduate of the High School of Commerce and later went on to receive his associates degree from Springfield Technical Community College.
Paul was employed for many years as a security officer at several security companies throughout Western Mass and was most recently employed by the St. Moritz Security Services, before retiring in 2023.
He enjoyed a good game of chess, playing his favorite game of cards, pitch, and surfing the web on his computer.
Paul was also a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox.
His free spirit and happy-go-lucky personality will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Susanne of Chicopee, sisters, Linda Wilson of Georgia and Shirley Heeb of New York, brother-in-law, John Beaupre and his wife, Edie of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 21, at 11 AM at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, 49 Olsen St., Chicopee, for his committal service and burial. There are no calling hours.
