Patricia A. Fredette

Patricia A. (Parenteau) Fredette, beloved wife of 62 years of Armand J. Fredette, who predeceased her in 2009, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at MissionCare at Holyoke, at the age of 99.
Patricia was born in Springfield, MA on September 9, 1924, a daughter of Aime and Clara M. (St. Amant) Parenteau, she was raised and educated in Chicopee.
During WW II, she was a machine operator at the former Cutler and Schermerhorn in Springfield.
Patricia was a longtime parishioner of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee.
Her past times included doting over her grandchildren, knitting and crocheting.
Patricia leaves behind her loving daughter, Carol A. Vallee and her husband, Bruce of Terryville, CT, three grandsons, Michael Vallee and his wife, Erica of Ocala, FL, Jason Vallee and his wife, Jennifer, and Kevin Vallee and his wife, Katie all of Bristol, CT, great grandchildren, Evan Vallee and his wife, Jordan of Princess Anne, MD, Paige Kleinschmidt and her husband, Ethan of San Diego, CA, Aiden Vallee, Matthew Vallee, Jacob Vallee, and Ashley Vallee all of Bristol, CT, and one great great grandson, Simon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, December 8, 2023, for a period of visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
