Nikita L. Perkins

Nikita Lynn Perkins, lifelong resident of Chicopee, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 17, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Nikita was born in Springfield, on October 21, 1986, a beloved daughter of Marcia (Davidson) Andersons and Philip Perkins, she was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Nikita was employed as a home health aide, for several years, in the Springfield area. She was a very giving and generous person. She had many interests that included spending time with friends and family. Nikita leaves behind her parents, Marcia of West Springfield. Philip and his wife, Cathy, of Attleboro, her children, Jason, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Jacqueline, and Jaxon. sister, Krisha Hoyt-Mackler of Manchester, NH, aunt, Barbara Thibodeau and her husband, Jerry of Summerfield, FL, cousin, Brandon O’Neil of FL, her Grandparents, Timothy, and Suzanne Davidson, and two stepsisters, Katie, and Jamie. A private service to celebrate Nikita’s life will be held at a later date along with her burial in Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee. There are no calling hours.
