Naomi Ruffner

CHICOPEE- Naomi Marie (Brown) Ruffner, 82, passed away at Palmer Health Care Center on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was born in Geneva, NY on April 11, 1930 a daughter of the late Stanley and Bessie Wiles Brown and educated in New York. She was a resident here for most of her married life and was an accomplished professional roller skater in her youth. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard E. Ruffner in 2008 and by two brothers and two sisters. Primarily a homemaker, Naomi enjoyed spending time at home with her family and making sure they never missed a meal. Naomi is survived by her daughter, Vicki Connor and her husband Thomas of Chicopee; her two sons, David E. Ruffner and his wife Frances of Westfield; Robert Ruffner of Missouri; two brothers, Donald Brown of Ohio; Joseph Brown of Maine; three grandchildren, Amanda Walker, Gina Duplisea, Lisa Snopek; 5 great grandchildren, Shannon Duplisea, Adam Duplisea, Joey Snopek , Dylan and Jaxson Walker.
