Nancy M. Perreault

Nancy M (Tracy) Perreault 89 of Loganville, GA died in Snellville, GA on July 30, 2024, with family by her side. Born at home in Chicopee, MA on June 24,1935, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Agnes (Champagne) Tracy. She attended Chicopee schools and was a graduate of Chicopee High. She learned accordion as a young girl and later became a member of the Fairview Teenrites and taught at Bill Harry Studios in Holyoke, she also played the organ. Later in life she became a talented crochet artist, she also loved to read, and work in her garden. She married her love Florent “Frank” Perreault in 1956 and they raised four children. After making their home in Chicopee for many years they settled in Granby, MA for the next twenty-seven years before finally moving south where Nancy remained. They celebrated 43 years together. In Massachusetts she was a longtime employee of Holyoke Savings Bank/Vanguard Bank and Polish National Credit Union, where she worked in the mortgage department. Once living in the south, she changed occupations and enjoyed working at several car dealerships as a receptionist.
She is survived by her son Frank Perreault and wife Cynthia of Blairsville, GA, daughter Susan Salvhus and husband John of Loganville, GA, daughter Jeanne Dukette and husband Lori Allen of Loganville, GA, daughter Marianne Mendes and husband Mark of Good Hope, GA. Her sister Marilyn Eckstine of Jacksonville, FL, sister-in-law Yvette Perreault of South Hadley, MA, sister-in-law Louise Tracy of Pickens, SC. Her grandchildren Corey Perreault and wife Samantha, Joseph Renaud III and Amanda, Jon Renaud, Sara Sikop and husband Chris, Jill Santaniello, Kadi Dukette, Nicole Mendes, Ryan Mendes, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Pittsinger, brother Richard Tracy, sister Carol and brother-in-law Robert Brewster, brother-in-law Gary Eckstine, father and mother-in-law Joseph and Rose Perreault, brother-in-law Wilbrod Perreault, brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Theresa Perreault. Nancy's funeral mass will be held Saturday June 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose de Lima Church, Grattan St. in Chicopee followed by burial in West Cemetery, Granby, MA, where she will join her husband. There are no calling hours. She was so loved and is greatly missed.
