Nancy J. Baillargeon

Chicopee – Nancy Jane (Roch) Baillargeon, 85, of Chicopee, passed away Thursday November 14, 2024 at Agawam East. Nancy was born on February 2, 1939, in Holyoke, MA, one of three daughters to Wilfred and Doris (Rivet) Roch. She attended Chicopee schools and was employed in Retail for many years at Lestoil and Forbes and Wallace and most recently a Jewelry Clerk at Bradlees. Nancy enjoyed landscaping and yardwork, playing bingo and watching the Home Shopping Network. Nancy was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Hector J. Baillargeon, who passed January 12, 2017. Together they raised their three children, Cheryl Peltier and her husband Russell of Chicopee, Karri Pappis and her husband Charles of Belchertown and Brad Baillargeon and his wife Mollie of Hampden. She also leaves her sisters, Judith Starke of Chicopee and Sandra Roy and her husband, Robert Walz of Florida; her grandchildren, Maya and Brody Pappis, Amy Hatheway, Timothy Fournier and Leighann Notarangelo; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Jake Fournier, Caitlyn and Andrew Hathaway, Jack and Max Notarangelo and by several nieces and nephews. A period of visitation will be held for immediate family and close friends on Thursday November 21st from 8:45 – 9:45 am at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee with a 9:45 am funeral home service. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. in Agawam.
