Mildred L. (Rosendale) Brown
1927-2014
AGAWAM-Mildred L. (Rosendale) Brown, 86, passed away surrounded by family on August 5, 2014. Mildred was born in Chicopee on November 27, 1927, a daughter to the late Walter and Rose Rosendale. She was a long time member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Chicopee and spent 42 years teaching Sunday school lessons. Mildred also volunteered at Willimansett Heights Improvement League. She is predeceased by her loving husband, William Brown in 2010; her brother Walter Rosendale Jr.; her sister Barbara Hastings; and her son-in-law, Thomas Zelisko. Mildred is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Zelisko of Davenport, FL and Deborah Lapointe and her husband Roger; three grandchildren, Jenna Hollon, Jessica Bolton and her husband Timothy, and Adam Zelisko and his girlfriend Charlotte; and two great-grandchildren, Londyn and Noah Hollon. She is also survived by three brothers, William Rosendale and his wife Annie, Robert Rosendale and his wife Wanda, and Nate and his wife Dorothy; two sisters, Beatrice Rosendale, and Shirley Rosendale and her lifelong companion Jack Daley; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mildred will be held Saturday, August 16 at 10:30AM in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview Ave, Chicopee.
