Plainfield – Michelle Jeannine (Badger) Whitlock, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday October 3, 2019, another beautiful life that has ended by the horror of heroin addiction.
Michelle was born in Holyoke to Raymond S. Badger and Pauline (Lizotte) Badger-Juchno, and was a graduate of South Hadley High School.
For the past year, Michelle was working in construction and was the happiest that she has been. From the time she was young, Michelle loved being outdoors camping and catching frogs and tadpoles, and most recently raising chickens. Michelle was a spirited young woman who lived most of her life on her own terms.
She will be dearly missed by her mother, Pauline and her husband, Edward Juchno of Chicopee; her father Raymond Badger and his wife Jane of Holyoke; the lights of her life, her three children, Jacob, Grace and Faith Whitlock; brother, Raymond Badger and his companion Trudy Tkacz of Granby, MA; sister, Jenny Reid of West Springfield; companion, Frank Wiles of Plainfield, MA and his daughters, Sarah Elizabeth and Jessie Lynn who became special friends; and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held for Michelle on Sunday October 20th at 4:00 PM by Pastor Daniel Peloquin at Our Fathers House Ministry Center, 938 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA. Calling hours will be held from 2 – 4 PM at the church prior to the service. Brunelle Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michelle’s memory to the Whitlock Children College Fund, C/O Pauline Badger-Juchno, Alden Credit Union, 710 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA 01020.
