Michelle D (Renaud) Thomas

Michelle D. Thomas 1954-2018 West Springfield- Michelle D. Thomas, 63, passed away surrounded by her family and close friends on Thursday January 11, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Shelly was born on June 26, 1954, daughter of the late Victor and Gisele Renaud. She was predeceased by her sister Carol~Ann Zawrotny and a brother Victor Renaud. Shelly was educated in Springfield Mass. and a graduate of Putnam High School. Shelly worked for several years as a Hair dresser and later enjoyed being a Foster care provider, a caregiver for special needs and elderly individuals. Shelly loved spending time at the beach and camping with loved ones. Her church family had always been an important part of her life as well as spending time with her family and friends. Shelly's hobby's included pottery, crocheting, jewelry making and misc. crafts which she gave to her friends and family. She will be missed by her husband Bill LaBrie; niece Amber Zawrotny; step daughters and their families; extended family in Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Mass and many loving friends. Services will be held on January 27, 2018 at 10AM at Our Fathers House, 938 Chicopee Street, Chicopee, 01013.
