Michael W. Bombardier, 51, passed away at Baystate Medical Center after a short stay for a long illness. He was born in Holyoke on December 17, 1963, a son of the late William and Marian (Niemiec) Bombardier. He lived most of his life in Chicopee and was a 1983 graduate of Chicopee Comp and worked for James River Graphics for several years. Michael loved NASCAR and was an avid Earnhardt fan. He is survived by his brother, James Bombardier of Holyoke and sisters Laurie Beebe and her husband Bill of Ludlow; Debra Buley and her husband Daryl of Belchertown and many cousins and extended family members. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Nina and Evan Mazza, Katelyn and Ryan Beebe and Cameron Buley. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 9-10:30AM in Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee and be followed by a Mass at 11AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
