1924-2018
CHICOPEE- Mary A. Morin, 93, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on July 31, 1924, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Sloan) Brooksbank. She married the late Henry Morin on June 29, 1946; she was predeceased by a daughter Vicki Morin in 2011. In her younger years, Mary enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping with her husband. She was also fond of horseback riding and ice skating. Mary was artistic; she often could be found knitting sweaters and afghans or making ceramics. She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Bruce and Sue Morin of Southampton; Gene and Sandy Morin of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Heather Morin, Michael Morin, Tabitha Griffin and her husband Patrick; Kori Morin and her partner Ricky Coughlin. Mary is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren, Gabriele Coughlin; Kaleigh Coughlin; Savanna Rivera and Olivia Griffin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 10AM-12PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, MA with a funeral home service at 12PM. The burial will take place at a later date.
