Chicopee – Martha Marie (Dubeau) Paul, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Monday November 29, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born in Montreal, Canada to Achille and Lucinie (Turcotte) Dubeau, she was a 1951 graduate of Montreal High School. Martha was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Parish in Chicopee where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and Nativity Ladies Association. She also was a member of the Franco-American Club in Chicopee and the Seniors of Aldenville. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert E. Paul in 2000, and by several brothers and sisters. Martha always said she loved her ‘little family’. She will be missed dearly by her loving daughter, Lisa Lowe, and her husband Jim of Chicopee; her siblings, Roger Dubeau and Lucie Gariepy; two grandchildren, Nicole Lowe and Zachary Lowe and his wife Mackenzie and by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to meet for visitation on Friday December 3rd from 4 – 6 PM at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. Martha’s Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday December 4th at 9 AM at the St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St. in Chicopee. Please meet directly at the church. Committal services will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
